We were honored to present the “Leadership Shofar” to Dr. Tal Zaks, Chief Medical Officer of Moderna, who led the development of the COVID-19 vaccine.
He shared insights from the race against time, his mission-driven approach to science and medicine, and a shift in mindset – from why something won’t work to what’s possible if it does. He also spoke about the intersection of medicine and politics, and the leadership required to communicate clearly, see beyond crisis, and empower teams.
